How about a small point spread for home field advantage for the home playoff teams?

Should winning your division and earning the better regular season record mean something? I think so. I've always been uncomfortable with fantasy sports playoffs how everyone starts off even keel, the battle in the regular season has to mean something just like it does in the NFL when teams have to travel in the dead of winter. I think with the current point system we use in this league that a touchdown spread (7 points) would be a fair number for the home team. The Super Bowl of course will remain neutral territory without any kind of a spread, only for conference playoff battles.
Thoughts?

either a small point spread or in event there is a tie the home team wins.

I really am digging this, let the 12th man show up!
I propose
Playoff team at home earns a +2 point spread added on. (I know its not a lot but like most rules we will try it out and maybe we can tweak it more in the future) Playoff Tiebreaker goes to the home team.
If we all like this, perhaps in the future we can incorporate a smaller amount like 2 points for reg season and 4 points for playoff games?

How about we give the home team a FG, lets make it a 3 point spread, with the tie going to the home team as well.

I like the idea, but I'd be more comfortable with a 3 point spread than a 7 point spread. Unless you're the Seahawks, in which case you get +100 points home field advantage.
Seriously though, I'd vote for something smaller for the first year just to test it out, and increase it gradually as we see fit.

But I'm also open to a home field advantage in the regular season as well.

Looking at MFL I can't find a way to separate the two. I can set a home field advantage throughout the season/playoffs as the same point total but not a different one. I suppose for the playoffs I could just change the scoring to affect this then?

I say we change it for both regular season and playoffs.

Got to veto hate the idea of an advantage in regular season a lot of game come down to the wire really do think that is unfair, love to see it in playoffs tho

I'm really open for anything… If I can change the scoring random for the playoffs, If that is physically possible in MFL, I am all done for just the playoff home field advantage, but I'm not sure if I can just do that. If anyone has insight on that let me know.

Love the idea or home field advantage in playoffs only. Wouldn't want it in regular season but a plus 3 advantage for home team would be an amazing new addition to this league
