I think a high caliber player like Browner is worth a bit more, I would say at least 1.5 mil

I think a high caliber player like Browner is worth a bit more, I would say at least 1.5 mil VETO 0-1 He only played in 8 games last year and was suspended for a year but the NFL moved it down to four games this year. So I lose him for 4 weeks this year and if he screws up again he's pretty much done for good. He was also suspended in 2012 and hasn't been a top CB since 2011..

I understand Browner has character issues, but like many, i.e. Adam (formerly Pacman) Jones, as long as the opportunity exists to make a turn around (especially on a team like the Patriots), he may return to posting numbers at least where he began. I think that's a pretty valuable contribution. However, considering a top CB can be traded for cap of less than that amount, there shouldn't be an issue re-signing one who didn't rank in the top last year.
