Yes Frank, Option 1 is the one I support the most. Its the most simple yet achieves in solving the main problem. In terms of years and games played, that is where things get too confusing IMO. Use NFL.com for experience. Maybe for an RFA tag, we can only use this if the player is a rookie, or has 1 year of experience or less as stated on NFL.com. For min contracts, while it is silly I agree Frank, wouldn't overcomplicate something that really has not much effect overall. IMO. We could do 450K for one year, or 500K for multiple years, but I wouldn't go any crazier then that. Yes, I like those ideas Anthony. I think originally my idea was 450k for one year, and 500k for multi year contracts, until I began too consider option two. Lets see what other members have to say.

Not a fan of no free drop for retirees but again it's not a deal breaker..

im leaning toward option 1 simply because i dont like paying 800,000 plus for a guy, just because he is older, but possibly not better.
