If a team has a bye week happening on a Playoff week, they can be moved to a different week that happens in the regular season
For example, 4 teams have a week 14 bye week which is the wildcard round of our playoffs. As a league we decide that any player for those 4 teams cannot play in week 10 as a replacement bye week. (The week we decide to make the replacement will need to be post trade deadline) A new board will be created where teams post to say if they want to play a player on a bye in their week 14 matchup (If they have one)
E.g. Dalvin Cook has a week 14 bye The league decides the new bye week for the Viking players is week 10 In week 10 I would post in the new 'Bye Week Replacement' thread that I want to start Dalvin Cook in week 14. In week 10 I CANNOT put Dalvin Cook in my lineup Dalvin Cook scores 14.8 points in Week 10 In week 14 one of my RB spots is taken up by Week 10 Dalvin Cook and his 14.8 points (and I cannot start Dalvin Cook)
Obviously a little more work for LMs, but it would prevent reaching the playoffs and having issues with star players being out, causing some mismatches in the section of the season where we want to see the best playing the best.
Any suggestions to changes welcome as it's obviously not a fully fleshed out concept.

I think this has to be adopted personally. It’s unfortunate, but teams face enough lineup issues without having to deal with that on top of everything else.

I have a question about this, How does the team decide which week they will use the points from? In the example above week 10 was decided, but why or how does the team or league decide on week 10? Is it just any week after the trade deadline?

It would be a week decided by a LM for the whole league rather than on a team by team basis. It needing to be post trade deadline is to ensure any of those players are not traded after the decision to have them play on their scheduled bye.
So for example every team with a week 14 bye is replaced with week 10 at Frank's decision. If we also have week 15 byes then they might be replaced with a week 11 bye, once again decided by a LM/Frank.
Additionally it would not be a pick and choose who plays in week 10 or week 14. Any player with a week 14 bye in RL would not be eligible to play in week 10 here. You just choose which of those players you want locked into your week 14 matchup.

What if the player you lock into the week 14 match up is injured or benched before then?

What if the player you lock into the week 14 match up is injured or benched before then? It wouldn't matter as you're getting his Week 10 performance
