Washington accepts on behalf of the Steelers PIT has lots of LB but virtually no DE. This trade helps them and we hope Quinn will produce for them. Thanks to the Giants

If this was for Washington I'd say fine, but I see no reason the Steelers should be trading a pick and a high scoring LB for an aging and overpaid DE.

Agree with Browns, if the ages were closer then maybe but at 32 and fading Quinn looks to be on his last NFL legs. Jones has just come off the RL IR and he's with a new team, so there is some doubt but he's a better age to contribute going forward into next season and has a much higher ceiling. No idea why the 5th was even included, picks should be coming the other way

I think the perceived value of each of the respective players are self-explanatory. Although the DE may fill a void, that fulfillment comes at the expense of sacrificing on average 10 ppg., and does nothing to improve the Steelers' current or long-term outlook.
