Ravens accept. Making sure I get help at RB which has been a struggle, pairing Mixon with Williams has me feeling pretty good! Thanks Browns for the talks!

I’ve been thinking this one over, it seems like an awful lot to pay for a 1 year RB. I think even if Mixon was on a multi year deal two 1sts is pretty steep. I’m going to put in a Veto, especially considering it’s a division trade. Ravens could be giving up an amount that could be detrimental to the future of their team. Veto 1-1

Removed my approval until tht gets confirmed Our league doesn’t allow two extensions anymore , does Baltimore know that as well A true rental if that is the case

Veto 1-2
With the news rules you could technically keep Mixon longer than a year under the FT. Still it is hard for me to wrap my head around how this really helps the Ravens in the short or long term.
It's a team adding a 1yr RB while not currently having a starting QB on the roster. Ravens do still have plenty of time to figure out the QB situation by tag or other means. Right now though it doesn't look or feel right to add a one year RB to this roster. Imo being a division rival trade raises the potential risk of creating a wide divisional gap which would hurt the league as a whole. Sorry guys I really hate to veto. For myself if the Ravens got a better pick back than a late 3rd with Mixon while not sending a pick I'd probably be more willing to try leaning to an approve.

It’s fine guys, no drama, but just so you guys know the process with the trade: 1) Dan was just stating that Mixon had been extended once already, meaning he couldn’t be again. I can see where that was confusing.
2) my intention was to use the FT and maybe the extension (per the new rule) for him, so it would be a minimum of 2yrs, with the possibility of more.
3) I’ve had an abysmal record of trying to fix the RB position every year I’ve been here lol. Williams is the lone bright spot there. I felt like solving the position for 2yrs or more was worth the picks, especially as I had a couple extra.
4) maybe we could come up with a general, ballpark guide to values, like the one that most of the NFL uses? I’ve seen some pretty egregious deals passed without a single veto vote, and it just feels like we could use some more guidance there so that we are all on the same page and for consistency.
Just some thoughts going forward! Thanks for looking out for the league!
