I think we should allow certain types of trading after the deadline, namely a trade here a team with multiple starting QBs trades one to a team with no foreseeable option at QB. This is more sensible than making someone go through half a season or more with no QB when they have plenty of assets to acquire a new one. Another option would be pushing back the deadline.

We currently have the trade deadline set up at the halfway mark of the regular season in this league, in fact this year I pushed it back to the Sat before week 7, so a little passed the halfway mark of the regular season. Keep in mind we only have 12 regular season games. How far into the regular season are you guys suggesting?

I'm open to pushing it back a little. Week 10 seems too close to the playoffs, which starts in week 12. I'm open to pushing it to the end of week 8.
Thoughts?
