The Tampa Bay Bucs trade:
Tom Brady (QB-NE) 13/14/15/UFA
To the Baltimore Ravens for:
Eli Manning (QB-NYG) 21.77/UFA LaMarcus Joyner (CB-STL) 1.42/1.42/RFA 1ST 2016 2ND 2016
Cap Hit: Bucs +10.19 Ravens -10.19
League management accepts for the Bucs. While Eli Mannings contract is not ideal, clearing the 21.77 by the end of the year will give this Bucs team enough money to pursue a QB in free agency. By clearing that much money, this team may be able to pursue Manning again at a much more reasonable salary, if the 2015 free agency is any kind of an indication. The additional draft picks put the Bucs now with 5 first round picks, and 3 second round picks for the 2016 draft, which will make this rebuild much faster than most. Eli still keeps this team competitive this year, and the addition of Joyner is a much need CB on this roster for this year, as well as following years with the RFA tag. The Ravens get to save a ton of cap money, and will be able to maneuver around this year a little more easily. Overall its a well balanced trade and both teams address needs. Thanks to the Raven organization.

The Ravens accept this offer for a few reasons. I have a lot of CB depth and needed to clear cap space. Brady's contract is 3 years which gives me a starting qb at a nice price for 3 years. I think Eli will do really well but have been trying to trade him for a qb with a longer deal and I finally got it. Thank you to league management for working this out so fast so I have Brady for tonight. Let's get ready for some football!!!
