I just wanted to throw this idea out there, maybe a 3%-5% league cap increase. I know there will be different opinions on this, those who have managed their money poorly will want the increase, those that have managed their cap responsibly will not want the increase. I have no opinion on the matter at this time, but I would like to hear everybody's thought.

i'm against it...... I think the cap is fine where it is, as one of those teams who's been able to manage the cap, I find that multiple teams have also been able to do the same. In the process teams have also not been able to put together a 53 man roster either, whether they have the cap space or not. An increase just gives GMs more money to overpay for players that aren't even worthy of it. Granted i'm a cheap S.O.B. but lets face it keeping the cap where it's at will help GMs to put a more realistic value on players at certain positions, who truly have impact to the outcome of games(ex. QBs). Just my opinion....

I'm with the 9'ers on this one. And this coming from a team who is up against the cap this year (and next), but believe managing a teams finances is part of the overall GM experience. Sometimes tough cuts have to be made and a team has to make the best of their financial situation. As initial inauguration picks begin to fall off the books over the next year or so, prices will (or at least should) begin to stabilize.

I agree I think having the cap where it's at is fair and keeps it competitive

Im with Darryl and Ant. Keep the cap the same, all owners have had the salary cap to work around and I don't see any advantage for the league to increase it

I feel we should keep the cap the same. I feel that we are just beginning to see the standard value on players as the last of the initial draft prices fall off. If it gets changed, the prices will be in flux again for another 3 to 5 years until the increased cap price balences out.

I also like where the cap is at. Makes things very interesting to try and staff under the cap yet improve the team. As a team that is always near the cap, having to move pieces around,to make cap work is something that is a a lot of fun to do and makes things, interesting.

To add to my earlier post, I would like to agree with Joe. The RFA and FA markets in Dynasty NFL GM are settling down now we are in our 5th year, and I would expect the same to happen here, changing the cap would cause another 3-4 years of market instability as teams spend heavily initially and then prices fluctuate heavily in the following years until those initial overpriced contracts reach the open market again.
