2017 League Vote: Proposition #1 (APPROVED VIA MAJORITY)

We are voting on assigning a cap hit to retired players. The cap hit would be the same percentage as the cap waiver penalty for the duration of the contract. If the cap hit were to be raised or lowered, the retired cap hit would adjust accordingly along with with the waiver cap penalty. This vote also entails a grandfather clause, that any free agents singed prior to the 2017 season would be excluded from this rule and those free agents who retire would be subject under the old rule of a zero cap hit penalty.
