I think were going to need to look at RFA next year, and at the very least raise the RFA tender prices as they are still too low after raising them at the end of the 2015 season.
I would also like to add in the Right of First Refusal, which will be the lowest offered tender tag without a draft pick compensation.
Im also open to different ideas in regards to the structure of RFA, and how its conducted, maybe there's a better system that Im not aware of and I would appreciate any insight.

These are preliminary numbers of where I think RFA tender prices should be:
$600k -- Right of First Refusal
$1M -- 3rd round draft pick
$2M -- 2nd round draft pick.
$3M -- 1st round draft pick.
$5M -- 1st and 2nd round draft picks.
This is a base idea, and we can tweak these numbers, but I believe the range is about right for our salary scale.
Thoughts?

$600k -- Right of First Refusal
$1M -- 3rd round draft pick
$2M -- 2nd round draft pick.
$4m--1st round draft pick.
$5.5m-- 1st and 2nd round draft picks.
Just another idea..make teams pay for higher tender

Here is another idea, which includes adding 4th and 5th round tenders
$600k -- 5th round draft pick
1M --- 4th round draft pick
$1.50 -- 3rd round draft pick
$2.50 -- 2nd round draft pick.
$4M -- 1st round draft pick.
$5.50M -- 1st and 2nd round draft picks.

I like the 4th and 5th round tenders, it gives more GM's a chance to get involved if they only have one or two lower tier players to place in RFA. I think prices being higher is also better as in it will give the GM incentive to place a lower pick on the player in order to get something in return for a guy they don't want to pay that 5.5 or 4 Mil for.

ill be disappointed if there isnt 4th and 5th rounders. It makes sense for people who want to get those picks for their DT, CB, or PKer. Most of these teams will be the ones that are rebuilding and or just love picks.

I also like the option with 4th/5th rd tenders. I think it gives the owner more flexibility to decide on a tender price.

I'd like to see the 1st and 2nd round tender even higher, 6.5M?
