While traditionally I have been against a raising of the league salary cap, I think its time for a serious consideration to raise the cap for the first time in league history, and here's why:
1. We have raised the minimum salaries for veteran players. 2. We recently added a 21st starter to weekly line-up. 3. We going to be significantly raising RFA tender prices next offseason. 4. We're going to be establishing an RFA contract system that better rewards players being resigned by their teams next offseason. 5. We're also going to be considering raising some of the extension prices.
The bottom line is this, the league has changed quite significantly over the past 4 years, and as a league we need to discuss what implications these salary requirements will have on the long term effects of the league, and whether we need to adjust the league salary cap to better suit these new rules.
Thoughts?

UFA prices may drop if salary cap is kept the same, I am open to either keeping the same or raising,

Drunken Sailors shouldnt be rewarded with more Capt. Morgan.
This is a seasoned league with experienced owners. Every year there is drunken spending spree and the new rules tightening the cap will reward the most skilled owners. If you want to spend $18m on a guy, go for it, target that guy, but doing so with the $10m guy you hope is still good and a myriad of $4-8m guys that might be good just because you hope to hit on a couple shouldnt be rewarded with more shots on the table. You want shots, use your draft picks, be patient on potential.
Big no from me.

No it will only cause even higher bids in free agency if a GM wants to pay a FA a ridiculous amount of money then it should affect the GMs franchise if we increase it I think crazy high contracts will only get worse
