In this thread any league member can nominate another GM as General Manager of the Year.
You must give a story line, and make a case why any GM deserves one of the highest accolades in this league.
We will later on toward the end of the year conduct a league wide vote

Nomination #1: GM Anthony and his New York Giants.
Positive: After a disappointing 2016 season, GM Anthony went to work in the off-season and rebuilt his juggernaut in one off-season. The Giants this year won their 4th division title in 5 season, after 9 weeks are the 3rd highest scoring team in the league. The Giants look like a team that can make a deep run in the playoffs and possibly win another league title. The Giants dominated their division rivals, as nobody in that division ever put up a serious challenge, locking up the first league division title for the 2017 season here at Legacy NFL.Their most notable victory game against the Arizona Cardinals in week 2 by a score of 251-219.
Negative: They have had one of the weakest schedules in the league, residing in a weak division, and out of a 12 game schedule only one team will be fishing over .500 in 2017

Nomination #2: GM Frank and his LA Rams.
Positive: Since the start of the league, there is no team in the league that has more regular season wins then GM Frank, and this years team may be his best one yet. There are not many teams who would loose there MVP, and still pile up the points and collect those W's, but that is exactly what Frank is doing. Even without there star QB, the Rams are still the team to beat. They lead the league in points, have the studs at all key positions and finish out the regular season with two teams below .500 records. The only thing that stands in front of a 12-0 season, will be a week 12 matchup against a very good Cardinals team. Franks most impressive victory was a 291 point back in week 6. Well done Frank!!
Negative: Is there one?? Because I don't see one. This is the top team in the league, and the NFC Title will go through this team.

Nomination #3 GM Joe and the New York Jets
Positive: GM Joe has been consistent over the past couple of years in rebuilding an otherwise bottom-dweller team. This year his consistency has paid off in a major way. 9 weeks into the season they are the 2nd highest scoring team in the league, a stat historically held by the powerhouses of the NFC. For the 1st time in the leagues history, he is also leading his team to their 1st real chance of winning the AFC East Championship and earning a playoff birth. His team has shown the propensity to put up big numbers, scoring over 250 points twice this season.
Negative: Like their counter-part (Giants), they were able to take advantage of a weak schedule. None of their victories came against a playoff caliber team. Division rival New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens, who are also in contention for the playoffs, are the teams that gave them their 2 losses. Despite those losses, however, they currently boast 4th in the league in All-Play Record.

Nomination 3: Joe and the New York Jets
Positives: J-E-T-S....Jets, Jets, Jets. After many years of tough seasons without any playoff appearances, the jets are back and are now a real threat to win its first league title. After a very impressive week 9, the Jets are now the Leagues second highest scoring team. It's great to see teams, build there teams back from, tough seasons and regardless of how this season ends Joe should be extremely proud. The Jets made one of the best deals of the season, when he traded a 2019 2nd for Brisett. Loosing the franchise QB, would derail most teams seasons, but Joe's instincts and his read of the situation, saved his season. The Jets biggest game of the year will be a week 11 matchup against the Patriots. Winning that game should lock up the number one seed in the AFC
Negatives: this team is loaded and deep. The only negative I see is once Woodhead comes back from injury what happens to J.Allen role. And how much will that affect his post season run

Nomination # 4: GM Grem and the AZ Cards
Positives: Winning the league last year, the cards has sacrificed a bit of long term value on their team. Coming into the season and breaking down the roster a bit, it was looking like a repeat was unlikely. As a consistent GM and sporting two league titles, the combination of drafting Mahomes, then trading for Alex smith was a great move right before the season got started. Dealing with the WR injuries I think grabbing Witten in a trade was vital and that losing Edelman and Carson and still be able to stay in the top 5 in points all season is nothing short of impressive.
Negatives: Maybe the team in being solely supported by Gurley and is insane point total. Other offensive players have fallen off throughout the season and may hold back the team during the playoffs.

Nomination #5 : GM Andy and the Atl Falcons
Positives: Consistently winning the NFC South year in and out, the Falcons have been Quiet in the trade department, didn't add many power players in FA this year, and had a standard 6 draft picks, but yet again is in top 5 for points on the season at this point, have a 7-2 record, and in a tie for first in a division that they have reigned supreme. The lack of adding players through trades is a testament to Andy's scouting in not only the draft but making wise FA adds. Quietly emerging as a top team this season, they come in do work, blue collar style.
Negatives: There have been some whiffs with 1st round picks along with good picks, granted all teams have that, but 2 out of 3 years grabbing players who don't produce. Started slow, but has been on fire as of late.

Nomination #6 - GM Jereme - New Orleans Saints
Positive- he made some under the radar moves in the off season and his team was projected to be a little lower by many. He stuck to his plan and has put together a great season and should make a good run at the division winner. He has gotten better each year since taking over the team.
Negative- I’m not sure what the negatives would be I think he has done a great job.

Nomination #7: GM Darryl and the Indianapolis Colts
Positive: Has there been a greater story in Legacy this year? A GM in the midst of a major rebuild year, takes a chance on a QB that everybody across the fantasy landscape was dumping in Jared Goff, and pulls off the most improbable season ever for a fantasy GM. Going into the final week of the regular season the Colts currently stand as the number 1 seed in the AFC, they are currently the 7th highest scoring team in the league, and are consistently toying with that critical 200 points per week number that is needed in Legacy.
Negative: Their division has not been stellar, but there are worse divisions out there.
