I wanted thoughts on the Legacy NFL Pick'm game we have here come league playoffs where GM's have a chance to win a few late comp picks. My basic concern is how other GM's may feel about having an element to the game that really has no relation to the real game we're trying to emulate. Personally, I know it really deludes the back end of the draft, but Im trying to give all GM's incentive to stay active even when a season has gone afoul. Granted the picks that we give away are generally at the very back end of the draft, but when we combine it with our league policy of giving comp picks to all new GM's, are we making the draft board to big and too deep. Do we keep the pick'em game or do we abolish it?

I would vote in favor of keeping it...part of what makes this league unique to others.

I will reinstate the Legacy NFL pick'em game if we abolish the 5th round of the rookie draft. Between the comp picks we give out to new GM's, and the pick'em game, we essentially have no UDRFA period. I have a proposition to abolish round 5 in this years offseason vote.

I think we are giving out too many comp picks for new gm's.I don't think we should give out any.It is watering down the middle rounds of the draft making picks less valuable

I think we are giving out too many comp picks for new gm's.I don't think we should give out any.It is watering down the middle rounds of the draft making picks less valuable As the league has been becoming more stabilized with better ownership over the last coupe years, I have become more prudent with how many comp picks I have handed out to new GM's. Last year I only handed out a few sets of 3rds, 4ths and 5ths, which because they are at the bottom of the round effectively makes them a 4th, 5th and 6th round picks. I could remove the policy of just handing out all GM's picks, and base on an as needed policy, but usually GM's that are fired from this league are so because they have abandoned the team to a certain extent, and thus need the comp picks.
But I will become more discerning as it comes to that policy.

I like the comp picks for new GMS but what if we did something else for the pick em’ game? There would be less comp picks given out and the pick em’ prizes could be something like 1-2 million bonus to teams salary cap or one free waiver with no cap penalty I don’t know something like that. I’m thinking outside of the box here haha
