When I first took over Legacy NFL 6 years ago, we were a heavy based offense league, and over the years I have taken measures to bring defense up to par in a relative sense. If I member correctly, by the end of the 2013 inaugural season, we had only 1 defensive player break into the top 100 in total points scored. By the end of last year we had right in the 10-12 defensive players who broke into the top 100, and then last off-season we made a small change to credit pass defense 0.50 point higher which it looks as of today has increased that number of defensive players to break in the top 100 up to 17. I believe we have gone in the right direction, as I believe Legacy has one of the most thought out scoring systems in any league around. However, Im just wondering, when considering defensive players, should we think of giving them an even bigger role? Im not a big fan of the tiered system of scoring, where some positions get more points for the same attributes, but just thinking out loud here as to whether we should consider some more small tweaks. Thoughts?

What do you guys think of a very nominal credit for QB hits? It would be a small boost for DLine.
Im not sure MFL keeps track of those, but they do keep track of them in the box score.

What about penalties? Should players receive negative points?
