Hello all, I hope it’s ok that I post this here.......
I just thought I’d make a little suggestion here.
I wanted to propose a salary cap increase. I don’t know if we can do it immediately or if we have to wait until next year but I think it could be a good addition. Each year we have increased some element of this league, which I agree with. I believe Frank has done a great job making sure the off-season activities are centered around creating a fair market value for the players. Now I think we are at a place where we can look at increasing the salary cap. Everything has increased, extension, UFA, RFA prices. I think it’s the appropriate time to talk about a salary cap increase. I would propose we just go up to like $125M I think that would be a great increase.
Anyway, these are my thoughts and I felt like we could bring it up for discussion. Thanks everyone

This is one that I think is worth considering. If we are going to try and mimic the NFL, I'd like to see us gradually up the cap until we are even. It would take a few seasons, as you don't want to up it all the way and have all these guys on tiny contracts lol. But I think would add the interesting element of realistic contract money and considerations. Want to hand out 20mil, or 500mil to your star player? The rest of the team suffers. Some players are getting close to what their real contracts are like, but really hurt teams due to them taking up so much cap. Maybe this would sort itself out as teams have to retool because of the cap, but it's going to be harder and harder to dump some of these contracts that get way overpriced in the interest of staying under the cap. Hopefully that wasn't too much of a ramble, I think upping the cap would be a good idea next year and maybe the years after. We could scale salaries potentially as to fit?
