I have compiled a list of all the different rule changes proposals that have been offered up by league members. This will be the list that DOT members will be voting on for rule changes starting at an appointed date in January. If league members have anymore suggestions on rule changes, now is the time to submit rule propositions, before the league starts to vote on these rule changes sometime within the next 2 weeks.
-Every team must field a full lineup. Owners have been submitting lineups of say 10 players which doesnt make this place really competitive at all at times.
-Implement a minimum roster requirement of say 35 players. We start 20 players so having 15 on the bench would force teams almost to be able to field a competitive lineup every week.
-Include Guaranteed Money for Free Agents which would add to the points for bidding and count as a cap hit for that first yr
-Draft pick maximum, something in the 15 to 18 range per year.
- Minimum of 2 starting CB's in the starting line-up
-Put a time restriction on DOT members to vote on trades
-Possibly adding a punter to the scoring system
-One contract restructure per year for each franchise
-Long Rushing Plays of 20+ Yards 1 point each
-Long Rushing Plays of 40+ Yards 1 point each
-it also applies to Passing & Receiving yards as well, it says 1 point each for such plays why not just make it 1pt for each 20+ & 2 or 3 pts for each 40+. it just seems to make more sense to me.
-also in regards to kicking game, couldn't we give Kickers an extra 3 points for making game winning field goals?
-How about an NFL pick em contest for league members. You have to participate all 17 weeks with NFL game picks. Best record wins a 3rd round comp pick, 2nd place wins 4th round comp pick, 3rd place wins 5th round comp pick.
-How about a small point spread for home field advantage for the home playoff teams?
-Reduce reception points from 2 per reception down to 1 point.
