Signing of a player that has been previously waived/cut by the same team in the same season, after said player passes his waiver period unclaimed. I believe this rule should be allowed. legacynfl.boards.net/thread/10215/kyle-sloterI agree with Kevin on his bidding of a player he already had on his roster this season, but dropped this season. Bidding on a UFA is open for all in NFL, even if they left that current team previously that same year. Many NFL teams have cut players and resigned them multiple time within the same year. After a player clears waivers, he is free to go to any team that gives him the best salary, even if it was the team that cut him. NFL teams do it for many reasons, need a spot that said player is taking up, injuries, cap restructuring, etc.

Cheers Bears - I own/have owned Kyle in most of my 17 leagues at some point, some leagues allow you to pick up a player again, a couple force them to come back at the same salary but I don't like that, NFL teams will waive then renegotiate all the time
I wouldn't have wanted to drop him I love the talent and believe if he ever gets the shot he deserves he'll take it but I must have needed to create cap space or roster room and subsequently of course I'd have had players hit IR or waived as their circumstances have changed. I tried to re-sign him as he's on the Bears PS now and they're struggling with Foles/Trubisky both in form and fitness and Tyler Bray is a statue in the pocket which will get him quickly benched in the modern NFL. It's still a very long shot he ever plays a down
He's been FA for 2 months or so so (I had to check) So plenty of time for others to get him.. I'd support the above rule if it goes to a vote for next season

Thirded, once they clear waivers, should be totally fair game.
