I needed to upgrade my RB/WR positions and get some depth. Carson and Beckham will give me 2 great starters. I am happy getting some much need starters/depth on the defensive side too.
Thanks Buffalo for doing this trade

Buffalo accepts. I had some really good offers for Carson and Beckham but they were only picks. Giving up Hughes and Adams was hard for me with new scoring but I'm in rebuild mode.

I went back and forth on this trade. It’s a massive one and I really think the value is a little off here.
It would seem that Carson and Beckham are the big pieces Steelers are getting in return (Based on my own opinion as well as the Bills acceptance post) So basing it off that I feel Steelers are giving up a lot here. My opinion the picks the Steelers give up alone are probably too much for Carson and OBJ. Add to that the good young pieces Steelers are giving up, Sutton is on a high trajectory and has a great contract, Jordan Fuller showed promise in LA, Chaisson struggled but was highly touted and only in his 2nd year. I feel like that’s a lot to give up considering the return package. I think like any trade, it can be reworked but I just think it’s a little off as it stands. Veto 0-1

Agree with my friend Blaine. Values are off for me. Buffalo needs to add more to this deal. Plus the number of pieces involved also complicates things
Maybe breaking up trade into smaller deals will help.

It's just not there. Everything Pittsburgh sends in this deal represents young talent. 1st rounders and an early 2nd picks, a coveted young Dynasty darling in Sutton and 2nd year players (aside from vance mcdonald). Meanwhile, everyone Buffalo sends is an aging veteran or super expensive. Odell, if Pitt chooses to keep him next year, is gonna be extremely expensive, Carson is expensive, everyone's a little expensive.
I dont think it's an acceptable first trade between our two newest GMs.
Look at the trade as is without thinking of cap and draft picks. Now imagine the three players 1.20, 1.24, 2.7 and 22M in cap space will add to Buffalo's roster in exchange for what? Pittsburgh, I bet if you draft well you could probably do better than Carson and Beckham with those 1sts for an RB/WR upgrade and next year when Beckham/Carson are costing someone a combined 22M and you're flying high with two 2nd year players on 4 year 2.5M contracts you'll be happy this was vetoed.
