I like Clark and need another upper tier DE, with Dunlap in FA uncertainty he is needed in our lineup. I'm giving up a young LB, but I feel I have depth their. A 2022 2nd pick is tough to lose, but with Clark, I feel it makes up a position of need instead of a future pick in 2022.
Thanks Giants for a God trade

Veto 2-1
Since this trade will most likely pass, I'm going to add my stamp of denial. Cincy's explanation doesn't do enough for me to justify this trade.
1) Dunlap will most likely sign somewhere and the high 2nd can be used to replace him next year. 2) Additionally, there are plenty of DE's in this year's draft. 3) Clark is at the latter end of his contract on an extension, while, atm, Hightower is the forerunner to replace Dupree. 4) I'm not seeing the adequate depth spoken of at the LB position. 5) All in all, the long-term retention value of the pick and Hightower far outweigh Frank's production and longevity where a rebuilding team is concerned.
Perhaps if Cincy was in a position to really compete for the title this year the backwards value could be justified. Currently, however, I don't see how it helps the organisation move forward, but will be rather detrimental for its long-term outlook. Imo, although still not ideal for the long-term outlook of the Bengals' organisation, either the pick or Hightower would likely suffice, not both.

Veto (2-2). With Bud Dupree a Free Agent Hightower is the starter in a great position. Just too much for Clark.

Veto 2-3
Sorry guys. Wanted to put a end to this trade sitting in limbo. I generally believe teams should be able to build their roster as they see fit.
Overall I agree with the views made above. The pick or player alone should be enough when considering all factors involved. A slight re work would most likely get my approval though.
