Good afternoon Legacy! After much offseason debate, we are putting this resolution to a vote one final time. Please reed the below thread for full details and commentary from GMs: legacynfl.boards.net/thread/13429/proposal-v2-addressing-week-byesTo summarize: This resolution will allow teams with players on a week 14 (Round 1 of the playoffs) the option to substitute that bye week for week 12. Teams would need to declare by kickoff in week 12 which players they intend to substitute and leave that player on the bench in week 12. Teams would be required to include any declared players in their week 14 lineup, where the week 12 scored points would be added. This is not a required delcaration,. Teams can decline to declare any week 14 bye player as a substitute and use them freely in week 12. As an example: Commanders WR Terry Mclaurin has a week 14 bye. before week 12, his Legacy GM declares him a week 14 substitution. Mclaurin would be kept on the bench during the week 12 scoring period just as he would if he had a scheduled bye week. Mclaurin scores 5 points in week 12. It is now week 14 and the GM has made the Legacy playoffs. Mclaurin will be required to be in their starting lineup despite the real life week 14 bye week, and 5 points will be added to the team's week 14 stats. 2023 Week 14 Byes: -Arizona Cardinals -Washington Commanders If approved this will apply for the 2023 season only. We will revote next offseason if necessary.

Final vote has failed 11-10. We can revisit next off-season. For this season, week 14 bye weeks will be treated as any other regular bye weeks. Thank you all for the good debate!
