Texans trade: RB Michael Carter ARI 1.50 (2025) 2.32 3.01 3.17 5.12
Cardinals trade: 3.05 2025 1 ARI 2025 4 BUF
Texans accept. Carter is not in any long term plans. I liked him but at this point I think we know what he is. A 3rd string guy that can do alright catching the ball when dude(s) are hurt. This was mostly a move of consolidating 2's and 3's for a 1. ARI is looking like a really good young team on paper, so I'm thinking this is in the 22-26 probably. Just off math alone though, if you count the 2025 picks as potentially last in their rounds, I still think I make this trade. Being 22-26 range (for the 1st) as my hope makes this much more viable and something I'm very comfortable with. This also gets me off on the right foot of moving from 19 to 16 picks this year, and getting better one(s) for next year to distribute over the years. I am becoming the OKC Thunder (or at least that is the plan)

I feel like my cut day will be a waiver claim bonanza this year, so I want to steep the roster with as much budding talent as possible. I suspect the rfa’s next year will help me build draft capital as well. My play for a deep run in multiple years is on. Thx HOU
