I voted for two. Could be a traditional thing, but for the most part I believe it's easier to measure and determine playoff spots

playoff spots could be easier if your in it with 3 games with your division opponents total i dont think it would vary much with 6. i like both sides but would also like to play more teams in a season.

The divisional battles are the key, and winning your division first always ought to be your first goal. How each team in your division matches up should be the objective just like it is in NFL. For every chess move made by a divisional rival, the primary concern should be by the other teams in that division. A one game sample within the division is too small, especially when your talking about tie breakers with a one game sample that can be determined by a whim or an injury. The two game battles are essential, let the tradition stand, it has been well thought out through the ages.
