The Los Angeles Rams trade:
Ian Williams (DT-SF) 0.46/0.46/0.46/UFA
Mike Purcell (DT-SF) 0.46/0.46/0.46/UFA
To the Houston Texans for:
William Hayes (DE-LA) 0.65/0.65/UFA
4TH (2018)
Rams accept. Solid trade here, as the Rams are looking to upgrade the DE position, as we think Hayes will have a solid season even at the age of 31. Its tough moving Ian Williams, not only is he my back up to Aaron Donald, he is an absolute beast that is fairly young and on a league minimum contract long term. Williams dominated for me last year in another league, and while he'll start on the PUP list, I have thrown in his back-up until he comes back. Most of my trades this offseason have dealt with depth, contracts and youth, but this move is more of a short term upgrade to address a position of need for the up coming season.
Thanks to the Texans!
