We're going to need to change these again this year, there we're some flaws this past year. I will put up my ideas shortly.

These are the current tie breakers on the books:
Division Winners Tiebreakers
1. Overall Record 2. Head-to-Head Record (2 teams only) 3. Division Record (Percentage) 4. Conference Record (Percentage) 5. Strength of Victory (PPG Won by) 6. All Play Record 7. Coin Toss
Wild Card Tiebreakers If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.
1. Overall Record 2. Head-to-Head Record (2 teams only) 3. Conference Record (Percentage) 4. Strength of Victory (PPG Won by) 5. All Play Record 6. Coin Toss
The problem with these tie breakers is number 5 the 'Strength of Victory' or points per game won by. MFL does not calculate 'Strength of Victory' the way we passed the rule last year, they have a complete different method. So we're going to have make this adjust and figure out new tie breakers that both we as a league and MFL recognize.
My solution to this is simple, lets remove the 'Strength of Victory' tie breaker, move up all 'All Play' to number 5 in its place, and make 'Total Points Scored' as the number 6 tie breaker. I would also add a couple more tie breakers that MFL gives us the options on for the most extreme circumstances that I think will never happen.
This is what the new tie breakers would look like:
Division Winners Tiebreakers
1. Overall Record 2. Head-to-Head Record (2 teams only) 3. Division Record (Percentage) 4. Conference Record (Percentage) 5. All Play Record 6. Total Points Scored 7. Offensive Points Scored 8. Defensive Points Scored 9.
All Play Record 5. Total Points Scored 6. Offensive Points Scored 7. Defensive Points Scored 8. Coin Toss
Now I know there's a way to add tables to MFL, so we could better follow the NFL in regards to tie breakers. If someone with the know how on MFL is willing to put more accurate tie breakers together, I am game. But, this is the easy solution, as I have taken pre-existing tie breakers that MFL has in place and I think they work good. I believe that the 'All Play' record is the best way to determine tie breakers after division record and conference records.
Thoughts?

Keep in mind, tie breakers 6, 7 ,8, 9 will most likely never be used. I simply followed the options that MFL gave me, and in a unlikely worst case scenario where two teams would tie in regards to All Play and Total Points Scored it would come into effect.

I don't like the idea of 6 (Off pts) and 7 (Def pts) being used, if they are rarely going to be used, why not have a different deciding factor. I think a coin toss or even rock paper scissors on the chat n go is the better option, throwing a little luck into it.
I agree on the All Play record in replace of strength of victory, 100%

I think a coin toss or even rock paper scissors on the chat n go is the better option, throwing a little luck into it. I agree on the All Play record in replace of strength of victory, 100% Joe I think your right with 6 and 7, and thus I spent time looking for other tie breakers that MFL offers. Here's what I came up with: Proposed Tie breaker changes: Division Winners Tiebreakers 1. Overall Record 2. Head-to-Head Record (2 teams only) 3. Division Record (Percentage) 4. Conference Record (Percentage) 5. All Play Record 6. Total Points Scored 7. Power Rank 8. Coin Toss Wild Card Tiebreakers If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps. 1. Overall Record 2. Head-to-Head Record (2 teams only) 3. Conference Record (Percentage) 4. All Play Record 5. Total Points Scored 6. Power Rank 7. Coin Toss I got rid of the offensive and defense points, and added power rank as a complete last resort. Personally, I dont think we ever use a tie breaker past the 'All Play' but Total Points Scored would be next in line and as a final result the MFL power rank would come into effect.
