Okay guys, I want to try and make this league a little smoother, as shifting all draft picks from Probaords over to MFL has been a great help to me, and now I propose that we begin to shift all league salaries off Google Docs and on to MFL as well. Once the rookie draft is over, we will have plenty of down time to work things over.
The first thing I need is to see if our league set-up can move over to MFL, and accommodate some of the different aspects of league rules we have, such as cap trading, contract extensions, contract buyouts, contract restructures.
Any thoughts?

Restructures would have to be put in the notes...

Restructures would have to be put in the notes... That's what I was thinking too, as well as contract extensions could be documented in the notes too. I know salary cap can be altered for individual teams as well, even though we most likely will end cap exchange unless a member is willing to save the rule by coming up with more detailed guidelines on how cap should be traded.

The difficult part would be to keep a track of when salaries change from year to year. That would need meticulous note keeping on MFL which is possible but extremely time consuming from first hand experience when first inputting data on Dynasty a number of years ago.
A step in the right direction though and we could then do away with the GoogleDoc

If u need help Frank to move the salaries over im avalible....i know u can set a salary cap on MFL but if we are trading cap then it should be set at 110M but would need to see if notes are avalible on MFL to note the traded cap. would it be an idea of making a MFL page with the same rules as here so we can tinker around with it to see what we can and cant do?

you would also have to go and clear up all 32 teams waivers already processed and add contracts to the remaining waivers so that cap hits are accurate
