I brought this up about a month ago, and that was the possibility of raising the points for a 'Passed Defense' in this league from 1.25 up to 1.75. This would obviously help DB's in their points output, and bring them a little more in line with other defensive position. The basic philosophy here is that a pass defense is a bigger defensive play than a tackle that records at 1.5 points. Often times a tackle can occur 60 yards down the field, or simply tapping a player that is about to step out of bounds, and thus these points are accumulated often times when an offense makes positive plays. Passed defense however, are plays that always assures a negative for the offense, and thus you will never see a passed defense be awarded after a defense has essentially given up a big play to the offense. This would be a very modest increase, and it would bring in line both the Saftey position, but also the CB position that could actually use a small points boost in this current scoring system. Here is where we had some discussions on this potential rule change: legacynfl.boards.net/thread/6606/owners-mettings-2018-defense-points?page=1&scrollTo=25894
