This proposition will assign a -0.10 points per yard in penalties for individual players.
5 yard penalty for a player would be an equivalent to a -0.50 scoring deduction
10 yard penalty for a player would be an equivalent to a 1 points deduction
15 yard penalty for player would be an equivalent to a 1.5 point deduction.
A pass interference call against a player would be based on the yardage of the penalty, for example a 43 yard PI would be a 4.3 point deduction.
Honestly this could be a game changer rule, as it would really be a negative on secondary players, but it gives us more of a real feel for the game.
NOTE: MFL does not update penalty yards live, we would have to wait for scoring adjustments each before we would know the impact of this rule each week.

Intriguing idea but it seems to be the biggest penalized would be the corner backs and they're already a tricky position to evaluate.

pretty cool idea, but running it with almost no impact on scoring as a trial would be best... then scale it as the seasons go by to find a sweet spot. CB is a throw away position imo... i could care less about who i plug in there, this would change my thinking on that.
