League management take over of the Buffalo Bills organization.
Many of you may not know that Ryan was the founding member of Legacy NFL in the year 2013, however due to personal issues relinquished power of the league to me near the end of that first season. Over the years I have maintained contact with Ryan as friend, and have kept my loyalty to him both as a friend and as a GM of his Buffalo Bills organization. With that in mind I believe he may have lost interest in this league, and this Bills organization needs some special attention this offseason. If Ryan does not check in by the January 1st 2019 deadline, there will be a league take over of this organization, and I will run the day to day operations with a plan to make the Bills organization as competitive as possible for the current season, while keeping an eye on the long term health of this organization.
My conclusion is that Ryan has been around enough not to leave his Bills organization in complete chaos, as I believe there is some good young talent on this team, and a full set of future draft picks that makes this teams future very viable. With that in mind, this team still has plenty of holes that I believe can be filled via the draft and free agency to make them very competitive in the 2019 season. My plan would actually not be as extreme as say when we took over the Raiders and the Bucs several years back where I took the complete strip down approach of those organizations to set them up long term.
As to the overall ownership stake of the organization, I have no plans as of yet. My hope is that Ryan at some point becomes engaged in this great league of ours, and for the time being I will respect his legacy here as the founding father of Legacy NFL and continue to leave an open door policy for him to resume his day to day operations of the Buffalo Bills organization when he is ready. For anybody that knows me on a personal level, I am big on loyalty, maybe to a fault in this situation, but its where I have decided to go for now while I ponder the future. Ryan is a good guy, and I will wait on him because we would all not be here if not for his vision of starting this league 6 years ago.
I hope all league members can respect my decision.
