"
" 1 Cardinals
Cards have some heavy hitters at their positions in Patrick Mahomes and Kittle, Gurley was there, but even with the uncertainty he will fill out a decent rb and wr room. Very strong Defense to go along with it with good, not great depth. but easily a top 5 team
"
" 2 Steelers
More rbs than he knows what to do with and 3 great wrs, if manning holds onto his job this offense is top notch. dl depth is thin but has good talent and an elite lb core. This years Steelers may be a force
"
" 3 Raiders
Raiders are as solid as they come, young, talented, fairly depthy. wr depth worries me a bit. but two powerhouse lbs make this a formidable roster that is worth consideration for repeat
"
" 4 Bears
Having 3 great rbs and 3 promising tes makes up for the slight lack of wr firepower. however, the defense boasts one of the best and deepest in this league. I think a top ten unit overall with potential to roll into the top 5
"
" 5 Ravens
Ravens have an elderly qb/rb squad, but should still be productive. two top 5 wrs and a serviceable te group. Good defense with solid depth besides dl and s.
"
" 6 Titans
Ricky has assembled a potential top 5 group, a luck, two good rbs, 3 top wrs, decent te and defense. One thing that keeps them out of the top spot is a solid defense, not a stellar D
"
" 7 Falcons
Falcons boast a good trio of RBs lead by Kamara, and 3 more top end wr, assuming Gordon is back on the team. DL is stout and with the new qb hit rule, his lb are top quality, though lacking in depth, secondary is sufficient and can help this team achieve a top 10 finish
"
" 8 Jaguars
Jaguars seem like a complete team with exception of the rb room. Very good wr and lb groups, even with Reuben foster out. pair that with decent dl, te and secondary and the jags have a chance to reach playoffs with a hampered rb group. and who knows, maybe Henderson's shows up
"
" 9 Seahawks
Seahawks start off strong with potentially the best rb crew in this league. They however, lack the playmakers at wr, with the potential to start only 2 wr, and utilize their strength in te and rb, this may not be a huge proble.., LB is thin, but could produce enough to push this team top 10
"
" 10 Rams
Rams have a qb, adequate rbs and one of the better wr rooms, DE is a formidable position for them, but they really fall off at LB. I think they have enough to make it a top 10 team, but just barely
"
" 11 Packers
Packers are well put together, boasting a solid lineup of middling talent, but that middling talent filling every roster spot adds up, and safeguards in case of injury. overall the wr is the most lacking position, but he has some great pieces in bosa, rbs that can support the team
"
" 12 Eagles
Eagles are a sneaky team, the qb is set, we and rb have some potential homerun talent and te is good to go. defensively all the roster spots are filled with starters and with some development over camp, I think the eagles could be a surprise too 10 team. the depth is suspect though, so a rash of injuries could doom them
"
" 13 Chargers
Chargers have a stellar defense to go along with a potential beast player at each offensive position. Well structured linebackers will hold this team above water. Lack of depth makes me nervous for bye weeks and injuries/suspensions, but if everything falls the right way, this could well
"
" 14 Broncos
Hoarding QBs like it's a super flex, but no joke, set at that position. The rest of his roster is average at best besides rb, having Sony as a guy who may get points. unless something develops the roster will have startable players, but low point totals
"
" 15 Cowboys
The Boys have a solid qb rb tandem with potential at te, but lack of depth at te/rb along with an abysmal wr core make this offense suspect. The D will carry this team, looking strong and having the potential to be a top 5 defense
"
" 16 Giants
Giants playing it risky with only one rb on roster and 2 maybe QBs. it could workout, unfortunately the te situation did not workout for them with asj disbanding from the Pat's. Defense will carry this team with good to great talent across the board
"
" 17 49ers
They have some heavy hitters at qb and rb, unfortunately that is where it ends, some players on D, including a good DE crew, but nothing that really intimidates other teams
"
" 18 Lions
Lions lack rb gusto, but they make up for it in wr and te, hosting tons of potential there. the defense concerns me having limited options at lb. the other positions are suitable, but lack depth
"
" 19 Cheifs
Adequate to above average at offense, two great rbs, we talent is average, QB locked in. Defensively there is one glaring hole amongst the well put together other positions, and that is at lb, where the team only has 3 of them. middling roster
"
" 20 Panthers
Interesting team as they have game breakers in many spots, especially lb. depth is thin in almost all positions, but if health holds up, this team will be in the hunt for the playoffs, but most likely as a wildcard team
"
" 21 Vikings
Vikes strike hard with one guy in each position, Leonard and bates stand out to this example, but unfortunately do not have the depth to back it up wr has two with Pettis and green, but can some mid to low tier guys step up to push this team full of jackhammers ip?
"
" 22 Bills
Offensively, the Bill's have all the Mark's checked, starting qb and backup, 2 serviceable rbs, more than enough talent at wr and te. On defense besides slight depth issues, the lb core is lacking firepower. However, it seems to me that the Bill's have a great chance to take their division.
"
" 23 Patriots
The Pat's have players on offense, but not enough. Qb is good, rb might cut it if snaps fall in the right way, but we is severely lacking with moncreif and marvin Jones as the top option. te is good to go. Defensively there is nothing to write home about, but it is more than adequate depth wise and besides one strong linebacker, the rest of the units have some power players. The lack of offense however will hold them back
"
" 24 Dolphins
Dolphins have a lot of young talent. I am putting them in the middle, but development with discern where they go. Rookie qb, basically rookie rb, young but adequate wr, one strong tailback. Defense looks strong with only a lack of depth at safety with a rookie starter,
"
" 25 Browns
A rod and kelce make up the entirety of the offense, with a couple rbs that split time. wr dont exist at least not better than a number 3 guy. Def looks good with lbs, s, and cbs. dl takes a hard dive especially at DT
"
" 26 Jets
Jets have a qb and backup, serviceable, if not low end minimum rbs, wr is lacking firepower but te is good. secondary is strong, dl is average, lb is abysmal. lack of the main power positions will hurt them this season
"
" 27 Buccaneers
A team going the youth route, the secondary really sticks out to me having one of the best safeties in the NFL. Ronald Jones may be a solid rb this year, but wrs are unproven, if one or more steps up this year this rank will go up
"
" 28 Colts
Colts are hit hard by players being out and it's only before training camp. Crowell done, telvin Smith is taking a hiatus. but still have Derrick henry and Tyler Lockett. Strong do and top 2 lbs should help keep the team on the brink of not being bottom 5
"
" 29 Bengals
Placing a lot of faith in whether Rosen takes the starting job. rb is serviceable but no stud 3 down back, we and te just wont cut it compared with the lowly rb group. The entire defense is similar, guys that will get points but wont blow you away, and the depth behind them isnt good, but should be able to field a starting team
"
" 30 Saints
No qb = no bueno. A good but not great roster filled with youth has potential, but I think only the defense has the means to put up decent numbers. Rb has potential though, depending on how it all shakes out
"
" 31 Redskins
I believe a trade went through with the skins grabbing Matt Ryan. That will help longterm, but oofta did the skins ever get hit by injuries and bad luck. Even long shot Shaun Wilson was cut 3 weeks ago. I do think any position stands out and some like wr rb are inherently weak, will be rough going, but I dont forsee the skins being the worst
"
" 32 Texans
Qb locked up, fresh new rb in Jacob's, wr are almost nonexistent, however a recent trade aquired keelan cole, with a couple rookies and marquise Goodwin, te arent much better. The secondary has starters, and lb might be better than they look with the new qb hit stat, but par to subpar on the dl.
